How to Live a Beautiful Life in Freedom

If you place one species of hawk in an enclosure 1.5 to 2 meters in diameter, with an open sky above it, the bird will be an absolute captive despite its ability to fly. This is because this hawk always starts flying with a ground run of about 3.5 to 4 meters. This bird will not even try to take off without running space, as the hawk is used to. The hawk would remain a forever prisoner in a small roofless prison because he doesn’t find out how to live a beautiful life in freedom.

A similar thing happens with an ordinary bat. It is a bit nocturnal creature, a great flier, a true aerial acrobat, and a master of flying in the dark. However, that flying virtuoso cannot take off from a flat surface. If he placed it on the ground or home floor, he could only bauble around helplessly and, no doubt, painfully, look for some elevation to climb on and imprint himself into the air.

Let’s also mention the bumblebee. Put that interesting insect, which violates all the laws of aerodynamics, yet a great flyer, in a glass with a flat bottom and leave it open. Bumblebee will stay there until he dies. He sees no reason at all to look for a way out above himself, where it is open. Instead, the bumblebee moves along the bottom of the glass, circling against the walls, searching in vain for the edge from which to set free.

How to Live a Beautiful Life Even if You Fall

One of the most dangerous human traits and habits is to act like the hawks, bats, and bumblebees we mentioned. It’s beautiful to us as we fly, as life goes on as we wish. Here we all know how to be virtuosos; we know how to live beautifully. But there are days when we fall to the ground. No one has experienced problems and frustrations over something he cannot solve. We solve those easier worries through our efforts from our own experience. For more complex issues, we seek the help of other people, and it all comes down to acting at our level, there on the ground, horizontally. However, when trouble seems like a wall to us, when others from our level shrug, what then?

You Have God-Given WingsYou have god-given wings and advice on how to live a beautiful life

According to our habits, in challenging circumstances, we will continue to scurry around helplessly, seeking elevation as a solution to set off to freedom. But remember, we left the sky above all those flying animals. And you have God-given wings. It is a faith that God has given to everyone; we need to turn towards God and take off.

Biblical Advice on How to Live a Beautiful Life

One of the many experienced faithful people in the Bible wrote: “I lift my eyes to the hills: where will help come from? My help is from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 121: 1,2) “I lift my eyes to you who dwell in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God till he shows us his mercy.. (Psalm 123: 1,2)

Prophet Isaiah encourages each of us:

Look up, to God, at a time when we are fainting here on the ground, where we see no way out: (Isaiah 40:31) Lookup, call on the eternal Counselor, for even when you do not hope for a solution to your worries. There is free heaven above you and the hand of your God outstretched to help you.
